The University of Parma has built over time a unique museum heritage accessible to all. The collections that make it up, which developed parallel to the teaching and research university, cover the different areas of science, nature and art. The University Museum System consists of a set of structures responsible for the acquisition, conservation, management, enhancement and enjoyment of the collections and has as its purpose the dissemination and promotion of culture and scientific knowledge. The museum preserves, studies and makes known: exhibition routes are designed precisely to make more effective and accessible the museum fruition by a public cross of visitors and target more and more extensive than "consumers" of Museums. The museums offer guided tours for educational purposes for all schools of all levels.
